The Infinite Aperture Annual Photography Competition brings our community together to celebrate talent, innovation, and visual storytelling.
Selected finalists will appear in our end-of-year gallery show and the first place contestant will receive a $300 gift card for B&H

Rules
Categories
- Landscapes: Landscapes are all about capturing a sense of place. That might mean vast mountain ranges, coastal cliffs, rolling fields, or even a quiet park in your neighborhood. We're looking for images that show how you see and experience your environment - whether through dramatic light, subtle textures, or unique framing. Natural and human-altered landscapes are both welcome.
- Animals: From wildlife in motion to pets at rest, this category invites images that capture animals in their natural habitats or alongside humans. We are interested in behavior, emotion, and moments that offer a glimpse into the animal world - whether it's a bird mid-flight, a curious insect, a stare from a house cat, or a school of fish gliding through water.All species are welcome here, from mammals and birds to reptiles, amphibians, insects, and aquatic life.
- Botanicals: This category focuses on the beauty and variety of plant life everything from flowers and leaves to trees, moss, and even fungi. Whether you're capturing sharp macro shots of tiny details or showing how plants fit into a bigger scene, we want to see how you observe and interpret the natural world through a botanical lens. Urban greenery, wild forests, garden arrangements - if it grows, it fits.
Entry Guidelines
- Eligibility: Open to IA-PC members. Must be 14 years of age or older as of July 1, 2025
- Entry Limit: Up to 2 photos per category per participant.
- Format: JPEG or PNG, minimum resolution 1800px on longest side.
- Submission Deadline: November 1st, 2025.
Voting will begin July 2025, please allow 48 hours for ytour entry to be added to the voting pool. Voting will conclude December 31st 2025 at 11:59pm PST - Submissions not adhearing to their signified catigories will not be displayed for judging
Legal & Usage
- All photographers retain full copyright of their images.
- IA-PC reserves the right to display submitted images in club related materials with full credit.
- Entries must not violate copyright laws or contain watermarks/logos.
Community Interaction Guidelines
Infinite Aperture Photography Club is for the creative, and promotes shared learning. Members are expected to engage with one another in a positive, and constructive manner. When offering feedback, focus on being helpful and supportive. All communication, whether in meetings, online discussions, or during events, must remain free of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior. We welcome a wide range of voices, styles, and experience levels. Learning from one another is our purpose.
